The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show update. AND A NEW SHOW!

Before the show, look for coverage of the <a href="http://www.yippi.com/thehollywoodsummitshow" target='somewhere'>Hollywood Summit show</a> news live, from the<strong> <a href="http://www.yippi.com/view3dtv" target='somewhere'>VIEW3D.TV</a></strong> Studio with news anchor <a href="http://www.yippi.com/cassandradesiray" target='somewhere'>Cassandra Desiray</a>.

<br>The next show will include audition winner announcements, a new live band from somewhere in the world, new informational segments called Tip of The Hollywood Summit. It will also include the rest of the Bai Ling Interview, and a cool new skit.

<br><font size="+1">The <a href="http://www.yippi.com/thehollywoodsummitshow" target='somewhere'>Hollywood Summit Show</a> is looking for the following: </font>

<br><strong>1.</strong> <strong>We are working on adding many more segments to the Hollywood Summit Show</strong>. We'd like to have a segment that has hints/tips for models. Whether on the modeling side, such as tips regarding makeup, clothes, accessories, posing, fitness, artistic aspects etc.. or on the business side such as contracts, finding work, agents, incorporating, scams, and so on. If you wish to submit content for the show, you can contribute in text form (Cassandra Desiray could present and credit you) or shoot a video clip and <a href="mailto:newsroom@view3d.tv">send it to the view3d.tv newsroom</a>. If you have a large video clip, email the newsroom first, we will set up an account for you to send it to us.

<br>Those of you who have an amazing story to tell should submit your story to the <a href="http://www.view3d.tv" target='somewhere'>view3d.tv</a> newsroom by emailing your story to: <a href="mailto:newsroom@view3d.tv">newsroom@view3d.tv</a>. <br>

<br><strong>2.</strong> <strong>Dancers for The Hollywood Summit Show Credit Happy Dance</strong>. The Credit Happy Dance is a 2 minute and 45 second dance. We are looking for "GIRLS" to get up off the couch, and dance like you are happy to have seen the show for 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

<br><strong>3.</strong> <strong>Bands that want to be heard and seen</strong>. Ok bands, do you have your A-Game on? Good because you are going to need it. The Hollywood Summit Show is looking for your A-Game to play live on the show.

<br><strong>4.</strong> <strong>Actors to do new skits for</strong> <a href="http://www.yippi.com/thehollywoodsummitshow" target='somewhere'>The Hollywood Summit Show</a>. We want new talent for the show, so have your page looking its best. We will be dropping by to have a look. It's not going to be luck getting on The Hollywood Summit Show; it's going to take hard work. You need to be a member of The HOLLYWOOD Network Members. How do you do that? Why watch The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show? "YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THIS" (NO JOKE)

Oh, so you want to know why huh? Ok.....

#1. Thousands of people have auditioned for a movie called The Gauntlet but their is only be 8 parts. The Show will have the results for two of the auditions. (look for all the film audition results via the HOLLYWOOD Summut Show)

#2. A different band from a cool location somewhere in the world plays live every show.

#3. The Show has a actors craft info gig called "The TIP of HOLLYWOOD Summit' giving you a "TIP" every show. Education is very important to your career as an actor and The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show will give you just that. This is your job, what you want for your career, educate yourself.

#4. Morgan "HOLLYWOOD" Monroe's interview with one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World of 1998. "Bai Ling". WHO? OMG! GO GOOGLE HER RIGHT NOW... DO IT! LOL WOW!

#6. The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show is one of the "FIRST and only real Internet S.A.G (Screen Actors Guild) Show"

#7. "ACTORS! HOW DO YOU QUALIFY TO JOIN SAG?


A performer becomes eligible for Screen Actors Guild membership under one of the following two conditions: proof of SAG employment or employment under an affiliated performers’ union.

1. Proof of Employment

a. Principal Performer Employment Performers may join SAG upon proof of employment. Employment must be in a principal or speaking role in a SAG film, videotape, television program or commercial. Proof of such employment may be in the form of a signed contract, or original pay stubs. The document proving employment must provide the following information:
— applicant’s name
— applicant’s Social Security number
— name of the production or name of the commercial (product name)
— the salary paid (in dollar amount)
— the specific date(s) worked.

b. Background Actors may join SAG upon proof of employment as a SAG–covered background player at full SAG rates and conditions for a MINIMUM of three work days subsequent to March 25, 1990. Employment must be by a company signed to a SAG Agreement under which the Producer is required to cover background actors. Proof of employment must be in the form of original paystubs or a payroll printout faxed from the payroll house. Such documents must provide the same information (name, Social Security number, etc.) as listed above.

c. Ultra Low Budget, Student Films and New Short Film Agreements do not apply toward SAG eligibility.

2. Employment Under an Affiliated Performers' Union
Performers may join SAG if the applicant is a paid-up member of an affiliated performers' union (ACTRA, AEA, AFTRA, AGMA or AGVA) for a period of one year and has worked and been paid for at least once as a principal performer in that union’s jurisdiction.




2. HOW DO YOU JOIN?

Initiation Fees
To join SAG, a performer must pay an initiation fee of $2,277, plus the first semi-annual basic dues payment of $58. Thus, the total fee to join is $2,335.
Fees may be lower if you join or work in a branch area other than Hollywood. However, if you subsequently work in an area whose governing branch charged a higher initiation fee the year that you joined than you initially paid, you must pay the difference to the new branch.
All joining fees are payable in full, in cashier's check, money order, Visa or Mastercard at the time of application. NO PERSONAL CHECKS are accepted for joining fees.
Dues
Dues are based on a sliding scale, with the amount determined by how much you earn under SAG contracts.
Each SAG member pays annual base dues of $116.00. In addition members pay 1.85% of all individual earnings under SAG contracts between $1 and $200,000; and 0.5% of earnings from $200,001 through $500,000; plus 0.25% of earnings from $500,001 to a maximum of $1,000,000.
Dues are calculated on an annual basis, and paid in two installments — the first on May 1, and the second on November 1. Dues are not prorated. Bills are mailed to the address on record before each due date. Members who do not receive bills are responsible for requesting duplicates.
Dues payments may be made by cash, check, money order, Visa or Mastercard, in person or by mail to Cashier, Screen Actors Guild, 5757 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036. Please put your member ID number on your check. Dues can also be paid online at www.sag.org.
Legitimacy of Application
Your application and proof of employment will be fully investigated by the Guild for validity. Your application for SAG membership will be denied if you have falsified your credentials, or if your qualifying employment is not bona fide.
While it is your responsibility to ascertain the validity of your qualifying employment, the Guild will be the sole arbiter in determining whether the employer was legitimate or bogus, and whether the qualifying employment which you performed was actual production work or work created solely to enable you to gain Guild membership. Please be aware that false representation or deception on your part will jeopardize your chances to join the Guild.
Further, if after your application has been granted the Guild discovers such misconduct on your part, you may find yourself subject to disciplinary proceedings, which could result in your being fined, suspended and/or expelled from the Guild.
Appointments for Admission
If you are eligible under the conditions stated above, please contact your nearest SAG office BEFORE COMING IN so we can advise you of the amount of your joining fee and arrange an appointment.

Submitting Proof of SAG Eligibility
You may contact SAG about your eligibility status. If your file is not on record or incomplete, you may submit one of the following documents as proof of eligibility:
Original paycheck stubs.
Original activity print-out or report from the payroll company that states your name, social security number, the name of the production company, the title of the production, the salary paid in dollar amount, and the specific date(s) worked. The payroll company must submit this document directly to the SAG Membership Services Department.
Background vouchers and copies of paycheck stubs are not acceptable as proof of work. Submitting these types of documents will only delay verifying your SAG eligibility.

If you provide SAG with your original paycheck stubs, please make copies for your records before submitting them to our office.

In addition to enclosing proper eligibility documentation, you will need to include a separate piece of paper with your name, current address, current telephone number, and date of birth. A self-addressed stamped envelope must also be included so that we may return your documents to you. We ask that you print clearly to avoid input errors. Once verification is completed, you will receive a letter of eligibility from SAG.

Once you have submitted your eligibility documents, please wait until you receive your original documents back in the mail before contacting us at (323) 549-6769 to schedule an appointment to join.

If You Move During the Joining Process
In order for SAG to mail notifications out in a timely manner, we encourage all eligible performers to keep their mailing addresses current with SAG. Notify SAG of your new address by phone (323) 549-6791, by fax (323) 549-6775 or by postal mail. Your eligibility letter will list a SAG ID number, which should be written on all correspondence submitted to SAG
